Sarah + Evan
Sarah and Evan were a joy from the very beginning. They came to the planning process with so many fun ideas and a clear desire to make their wedding day feel completely like them. From the ceremony to the dance floor, every detail had a playful, personal touch.
Their ceremony took place beneath a beautiful chuppah, honoring tradition while still fitting seamlessly into their modern celebration.
Then there was Evan's walk down the aisle - or should we say dance? Instead of a traditional entrance, Evan danced his way down the aisle, setting the tone for the fun that would continue throughout the evening.
One of my favorite things about their wedding was how naturally their personalities came through in every part of the celebration. Dinner was catered by their favorite restaurant, making the meal feel personal and familiar, while chic recyclable bamboo plates kept the look elevated without sacrificing practicality.
The couple's first dance was another highlight. They surprised their guests with a perfectly choreographed routine that was equal parts sweet and entertaining. It was one of those moments that felt so distinctly them—joyful, unexpected, and full of personality.
Once the dance floor opened, the celebration went into full swing. Projection mapping transformed the dance floor throughout the evening, creating an immersive and energetic backdrop for the party. It was the perfect finishing touch for a wedding that never took itself too seriously and was designed first and foremost to be fun.
What made Sarah and Evan's wedding so special wasn't any one detail—it was the way every choice felt intentional to them. Their favorite food, their traditions, their choreographed dance, and their fun surprises all came together to create a celebration that felt personal from beginning to end.
Sarah and Evan are the perfect example of why I love weddings so much: there are no rules for making your day feel like you. Take the traditions you love, skip the ones you don't, add a little personality, and make it a party you'll actually want to remember.
